Tallahassee club set to join the GCPL women’s division for 2025
Tallahassee (April 11th, 2024) – The Gulf Coast Premier League (GCPL) proudly welcomes Warner – ASG to the league. The club will enter the women’s division for the 2025 season. Based in Tallahassee, Florida, Warner – ASG brings a rich history and a commitment to soccer development.
“Warner – ASG’s dedication to promoting the growth of the women’s game aligns perfectly with our mission,” stated Jonathan Rednour, GCPL Vice President. “We believe they will be a valuable addition to our league.”
The Florida panhandle club has operated successfully on and off the field for 34 years, offering numerous programming that emcopasses all ages and levels of skill. Most recently the club announced its acquisition of the I-10 Alliance soccer league, partnering with the Nationally based EDP family of leagues to provide expanded opportunities for the club members and access to more regional and national showcases.
“Joining this well respected and established womens league provides the next level of opportunity for our area players and college players” said Andrew Warner CEO of Warner/ASG. Warner, a veteran of the professional soccer game in the United States previously served on the board of the American Soccer League and was CEO of the ownership group of the Orlando Lions Professional soccer team. He was a founding member of the Eastern Indoor Professional Soccer league , Director of Player development and Co Owner of the Tupelo Houndogs. His resume also includes founding member of the 1994 world cup committee, consultant for the MLS and consultant for Disney Sports, organizing the first twi International Mens and Womens soccer tournament for Disney.
With Warner – ASG including a GCPL team to their pyramid, they continue to create competitive pathways for their player’s development and stay true to their organization’s mission statement. “We are thrilled to join the GCPL women’s division and look forward to upholding our mission while competing at the highest level.” added Warner.

Warner – ASG will be announcing their name and brand for their GCPL side in the coming months and will begin preparations for its debut season in the GCPL women’s division.
