One Change: Midwest Expansion Announced To Grow Club Based Model

Published on

The Gulf Coast Premier League has partnered with the Great Plains Premier League (GPPL), which will be included as a new conference in the GCPL’s 2019 season.

The GPPL will be operated and commissioned by the GCPL during the 2019 season with intentions of helping to build and sustain a successful model that will cater to the many clubs within the GPPL’s area.

“We’re excited for this new venture” said league President Jeremy Poklemba “It’s sort of reassuring that what we’ve helped create in our region is seen as something that can be replicated to do the same in other regions”

League statement from GPPL:

“After personally getting to know the guys behind the GCPL and following their growth since their inception, I am thrilled to we’ve been able to come together to create the Great Plains Premier League.” said GPPL conference manager John Pannebaker. “This will quickly become the top level soccer in our region, just like the GCPL has become the class league in theirs.”

The Great Plains Premier League is currently accepting request for applications. Please email info@plainsleague.com for more information.
