2018 Gulf Coast Premier League Playoff Format

The Gulf Coast Premier League’s 2018 Playoffs format will be as follows:

1. The top two teams from each conference will qualify for the Playoffs.
2. Qualified teams will be seeded (1-6) based on the following tie breakers:

  • Overall Points
  • Head-to-head
  • Goal Differential
  • Away Goals (against club(s) in tiebreaker)
  • Coin toss (if two-way tie) or drawing of lots (if 3 or more teams)
  • The top two teams will receive a bye and be automatically entered into the semifinals.

3. The quarterfinals will take place on July 21st at the home site of the 3rd and 4th seeds.
4. Semifinals will take place on July 26th and the finals on July 28th in a common location.
